He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 1997. After completing his medical internship and the School for Reserve Officers, he was employed at the Subotica General Hospital. He obtained the title of Specialist in Internal Medicine at the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in 2002. In 2004, he defended his master’s thesis in the field of cardiology. He completed his subspecialization in cardiology at the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases of Vojvodina (IKVBV) in Sremska Kamenica in 2009. He has been performing pacemaker implantations in collaboration with a surgeon since 2003, and independently since 2008. He has continuously attended practical and theoretical training in Novi Sad and Belgrade, as well as abroad in Lausanne and Bratislava. In 2018, he began training and actively participated in angiological procedures (coronary angiography, stent implantation, etc.) at his institution under the mentorship of interventional cardiologist Dr Svetozar Srdić, as well as at a tertiary institution in the Department of Interventional Cardiology at IKVBV Sremska Kamenica. At the Subotica General Hospital, he previously held the position of Head of the Outpatient Service, Internal Medicine Department I (Cardiology), and is currently the Head of the Coronary Care Unit, where he applies a modern approach to diagnostics and treatment of the most critically ill patients, including interventional procedures such as pacemaker and stent implantation performed in the angiography suite.
