General practitioner

Dr Katarina Badawi

She is a general practitioner and practitioner of Chinese medicine, an EFT practitioner, a Reiki Master, an author of books on psychology and healthy nutrition, and the only licensed practitioner of the Budwig Protocol in the Balkans.

She completed secondary education at the Cambridge School, United Arab Emirates branch, followed by medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad and Chinese medicine studies at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. In 2010, she founded the Holistic Medicine Department of Polyclinic Badawi, where she works with more than 10 natural medicine therapists. In her Holistic Medicine Department, she practices general medicine, acupuncture, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), the Budwig Protocol, and other complementary therapies. She is the only practitioner in the country who performs long-term acupuncture using the catgut embedding technique.

Due to the significant impact of nutrition on health—where food can be both medicine and toxin—she organizes healthy nutrition workshops and educational courses focused on this topic.

She is the author of several books on healthy nutrition and the preservation of mental health.
