She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, completed her specialization in Internal Medicine at the Military Medical Academy (VMA), and her subspecialization in Nephrology at the Clinical Center of Serbia. She obtained a Master’s degree in Nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, and a PhD in the field of Clinical Research at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad. She was awarded the title of Primarius by the Ministry of the Republic of Serbia, upon the proposal of the Serbian Medical Society, in recognition of her scientific and professional work and her engagement in organizing the activities of the Serbian Medical Society / Medical Society of Vojvodina (Subotica Branch), as well as the Nephrology Section of the Medical Society of Vojvodina. She was employed as a nephrologist at Subotica General Hospital, where she also served as Head of the Internal Medicine II Department (Nephrology, Endocrinology with Diabetology, and Rheumatology). In her professional practice, she focuses particularly on urinary tract infections, inflammatory and immunological kidney diseases, acute kidney failure, as well as the treatment and monitoring of patients with chronic kidney disease, including preparation for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. She is especially dedicated to working with patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.
